Fifth & Final Ski Club Trip This Friday, February 6, 2015! Ski Club is on for Friday night! Hard to believe that 5 weeks went by so quickly. Some will ask, why not another trip? Well, the cost per trip is about $4,500 for buses. We would need to charge each student more, and parent volunteers would need to leave work early for a sixth Friday. Plus, this year we've been lucky. Not one Friday has been cancelled for school closings or extreme weather.
Wear an extra layer - sweater, sweatshirt, parka - as it will be colder than usual, especially after 8pm. If you have one, pack a bandana or face mask, as that helps with wind. And double check the bag for gloves - impossible to ski without them.
If you have any questions, please e-mail nbskiclub@gmail.com. We will try to answer within 24 hours. |
| So What Can I Do With This Night Club Card?
Your student's Night Club Card is valid every night for the remainder of the winter. Monday through Saturday 4pm-10pm, and Sunday 3pm-10pm. Valid at Liberty, Roundtop, and Whitetail until they close for the season.
Some kids get a group of 2-10 together, arrange for a ride with parents, and ski/board the night away. Parents either go ski/board too, or enjoy a book or computer time in the lodge next to the fireplace, while the kids are on the mountain. |
| Chaperones & Junior Chaperones
NBMS Parents and WJ upper-classmen will be serving as chaperones on the trip. Responsibilities for chaperones and students are clearly outlined in the information packet. Your student is responsible for his/her behavior and safety. Chaperones serve as guides, not supervisors, throughout the trip - especially once at Liberty Mountain. Please have a discussion with your child about smart decision-making, for everyone's sake. Safety is our #1 priority - make sure it's your child's as well. Thanks! |
